It is quite common to see dandruff in your hair and scalp during the winter season. It is because, in winter your scalp tends to become dry and flaky resulting in dandruff. Even if your scalp is oily, it does not necessarily mean that dandruff will not attack you.

  1. Hot oil massage or treatment- Your scalp tends to become dry more during winter. And this ultimately results in flakes coming out of your scalp. But when you keep your scalp well moisturized the occurrence of dry dead cells or flakes of dandruff is much less and disappears after a while. Thus, hot oil treatment is extremely effective to prevent dandruff. Mix olive oil, coconut oil and almond oil in a container and heat it.
